Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

MT is an effective method for detecting surface and near-surface discontinuities in a wide variety of manufactured materials and components, including castings, forgings, and weldments.

Penetrant Testing (PT)

PT is one of the more sensitive NDT testing methods for detecting surface flaws and is effective on small objects, large areas, and unique shapes. PT can reveal surface discontinuities at a low cost while providing these advantages:

  • Ideal for examining large areas

Radiographic Testing (RT)

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Acoustic Emission Testing (AE)
Detection and analysis of AE signals can supply valuable information regarding the origin and importance of a discontinuity in a material. AE listens for the energy released by a defect and are often performed on components while in operation, as this provides adequate loading for propagating defects and triggering acoustic emissions. Because of the versatility of Acoustic Emission Testing (AE), it has many industrial applications:
